Haven't done a post like this in ages BUT i went charity shopping this morning and then starting sewing for ETTE and just died sewing amazing shorts so then that got me thinking about summer and I just started getting excited about dressing for warm weather.

Soooo I kinda just put together some shit that I am far too excited to wear.

So I have finally got round to doing an outfit post! I have been making these crochet shorts for Ette (We changed the name of our online shop to Ette from Thriftette) and I made this pair and knew I had to keep them! I love the zig zag crochet pattern and the shape is just perfect. You can see the other crochet shorts we have up online here.

Wild Horses Lookbook s/s 13

We are going on holiday soon and so decided to get our newest collection shot for the lookbook. We wanted a beach location so we road tripped it down to Southport beach in the pouring rain and ended up with a beautiful set of photos. Harriet our model was a real gem and looked amazing all day even though she must have been freezing! Some pieces are already up online but there is more to come including the shorts, dress and kimono. We had our intern Sarah from Fashion Dotty helping out all day, getting tea and helping keep Harriet warm, so thankyou Sarah!

We are off on holiday on Tuesday so will be a bit quiet on the blog front but definitely looking forward to some sun and sand after this busy week!

We did a shoot today for thriftette and I fell in love with this little outfit. Grace made this BEAUTIFUL cropped bell sleeve top that I am totally stealing, the shorts I made with some amazing crochet. I made some last summer in France after finding an amazing with crochet all over but think I prefer these!  I think it's so cute mixing black with pastels, makes it a little less sickly sweet.

We recently closed our vintage shop in Manchester and are now working from home and selling solely through www.thriftette.com. It has been really fun so far and hopefully will only get better. We are also moving to a new house, a real house house! It has a garden and everything and I can't wait to decorate my room all beautiful. It's quite a lot of change in a small amount of time but it's all very exciting.

We went to look at a house to rent this morning so it was a perfect opportunity for a quick blog photo sesh. I bought this crochet cardigan at Chelford car boot, I also found a black one, and I really love it! It's great for layering over shorts and I just love crochet so it was a great find.
