It's been a long time.

Blogging was always something that I never seemed to have time for. I wanted to blog, I wanted lovely photos of outfits I felt represented me the best and that I loved but it all seemed too annoying to actually do. Now I am back.

I have moved to France with my boyfriend and life has had many changes and ups and downs but I am in a wonderful place with my life, soul and career. Being in France is so peaceful and the weather is so magical that wearing all those pieces of clothing I love has never been easier. Hopefully I will keep this up this time.

Nomads Land Lookbook TIGERS EYE a/w 2015

The other day me and Grace went to shoot a new a/w lookbook for TIGERS EYE on the moors in Saddleworth. We recently changed the name of our brand from ETTE clothing to Tigers Eye as we felt it fitted us more and will allow us to push the brand forward so head over to SHOPTIGERSEYE.COM to see our new site! This lookbook was so much fun to shoot and we even found horse riders so they allowed us to take some pictures with the horses. Man horses are just incredible.

So according to me just seeing my blog when I logged in just now it says I last posted in March! MARCH!? I actually thought it was a lot further back than that so I don't feel too bad about it. A lot has happened since then and mainly being that we have a new studio for ETTE so instead of lazing about at home in my onesie working, I now get to put on real clothes (I know right!?) and actually go to work!

This outfit is me wanting to wear headscarves more cause they're just so damn good. I got this jacket thing from a car boot at the weekend and it's making me feel half sheep and half bad ass. Sadly in the UK it's not even too hot to wear a jacket like this in July but oh well. Gonna try to do more blog posts when I actually bother to do my make up cause you know getting dressed is the first step, make up everyday? Hmmm not so sure!

I like to think I'm not an avid fashion follower, I take account of the trends and obviously have to be swayed a little by what is in the shops but I feel like I have my own aesthetic now even if I don't fulfil myself to it 100% of the time (cough, I'm in my onesie most days...). I have an idea of what I like and what I don't like (the trainer trend ERGH  - except converse of course!) But I'm maily influenced by music, bloggers, people I just see on the street and mostly just ideas and moodboards in my head.

This is why fashion week doesn't really do it for me, I really couldn't care less about what we SHOULD be wearing next year but when a brand comes out with perfection it just can't be ignored. Chloe has always been a brand I have loved, I love their feminine and bohemian style designs that they always seem to have a feel for. This A/W 15 collection is no different. Obviously we all know that 70's is now being a 'trend' but for me it's just a way of living, an aesthetic that I just feel drawn towards. Everything about this collection is just making me die, from the cords in a dusty pink to the free fallin maxi dresses and patchwork prints.

Hello and this last dress I am just DYING about! Velvet and maxi and long sleeved and patchworky OH MY I want it!!!! I have seen a few similar items in Zara at the moment so may have to have a look in there again soon when I am rich enough to.

I've been getting up super early on Saturday and mainly Sunday mornings for god knows how long. I am a bargain hunter and my heart races when I find something amazing and it's super cheap. From around March onwards car boot sales start popping up everywhere (though if you're hardcore you can find ones all year round- hell yes!) and it is totally my favourite thing to do on the weekend. It's so much better than shopping the high street cause you find things you never thought you'd see/want, find things for about 5% of their RRP and help the environment (as well as putting money in the sellers pocket) by recycling and not making these things go to landfill!

I totally recommend checking out you local car boot, I get loads of clothes, old Topshop are such good finds! I also get so much homeware for the house like this beautiful tiled table. Who needs IKEA eh?

On Monday me and Grace got back from 10 days in the South of France. We stayed at my parents house as they were away on holiday so we had everything to ourselves which was lovely (basically we were free cat and dog sitters!). Went a bit photo happy on this trip but we went to loads of pretty markets and stuff so hope you enjoy the pics!
